Babaji Shivram was entrusted by a renowned petrochemical industry giant to import and assemble an entire plant’s setup equipment from Daqing, China to Barmer, India within a strict 90-day timeline. This multifaceted project encompassed comprehensive tasks such as freight booking, customs clearance at both ports, transportation, material handling, and the crucial equipment assembly process

To execute this project flawlessly, we established a dedicated project administration team comprising our finest managers who meticulously supervised every aspect of the operation. Beginning with customs clearance, we conducted thorough analysis of the machinery schematics to streamline paperwork and optimise costs. As a result, we successfully filed and obtained clearance for all equipment in a remarkably short span of just 2 days

During the intercarting phase within the port, we employed the under-hook delivery method, facilitating direct movement of goods from the vessel onto the trailers. By carefully assessing the costs, we strategically chartered a shipboard crane to load the packages onto the trailers, effectively minimising expenses compared to separate arrangements for a ship and a crane
