Streamlining Complex End-to-End Logistics
Babaji Shivram’s Role – Orchestrating End-to-End Logistics for the supply of 55,000 integrated car android screens for the OLA PLAY project. Value Addition – Spearheading comprehensive PO Management and air freighting of approximately 210 MT of cargo from HKG to 6 locations across India
- Procedure to Achieve Target:
- Regular follow-up with suppliers to ensure readiness and quality checks
- Efficient pickup of screens from suppliers, ensuring proper palletization at the airport warehouse for enhanced safety of delicate devices. Accurate cargo bifurcation for respective locations
- Swift air freight of cargo from HKG to BOM, DEL, MAA, CCU, BLR, and HYD on direct flights
- Smooth clearance and timely delivery of cargo to screen installation locations in all 6 cities
USP
The key USPs include securing an export licence in HKG, handling warehousing, labelling, and palletization in HKG, acquiring ETA and WPC licences within deadlines, simultaneous movement across all cities, and seamless loading and unloading operations
